ArkansasIDEAS is Internet Delivered Education for Arkansas Schools. In 2005, the Arkansas Legislature passed Act 2318 which created a partnership between the Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) and the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) to provide equitable access to high-quality, online professional development for all licensed educators in Arkansas.
Since 2004, each educator is required to obtain 60 hours of professional development annually. ArkansasIDEAS was created to provide online resources to supplement face-to-face professional development scheduled by districts and schools.
ArkansasIDEAS is a one-of-a-kind online resource for our state’s teachers and administrators and provides Arkansas educators with the highest quality online professional development available in the country. ArkansasIDEAS utilizes cutting-edge technology and offers the only statewide, online professional development portal for educators in the nation!
