A Poetry Contest for Arkansas Students
ARKANSAS STUDENT CONSERVATION POETRY CONTEST
Grades 3 – 6 (Elementary Division)
Grades 7 – 12 (Secondary Division)
No entry fee
Arkansas student entries only
Subject: Conservation
Any form – 12 line limit

1. Deadline: March 15, 2010

2. Awards for both divisions:  First - $25; Second - $15; Third - $10

3. Submit one poem (two copies) neatly typed or computer-generated on
8½ x 11 white paper, single spaced.  No poem will be returned.
Keep a copy for your records.

4. On both copies put contest name and division in upper left corner.

5. On one copy only put student name, address, school name, school address and GRADE in upper right corner.  On this same copy student must verify that the poem has not been copied in whole or part from another author’s work, nor been published.  Put no identification on second copy.

6. Mail poems to:  Marcia Camp
                             5128 B. Street
                             Little Rock, AR 72205

7. Judging will be final.  Winners will be announced at Zoo Day, April 17, 2010, in Little Rock.  Awards will be mailed to winners not present.
